A discount badge is not enough. BazaarScout assesses deals using price context, merchant competition, applicable offers, product lifecycle and freshness only when reliable evidence is available.
Deal Evidence
Current Price
A deal assessment starts with a current, attributable merchant price and compares multiple merchants where supported.
Price Context
Typical, recent and historical-low claims are used only when sufficient timestamped price-history evidence exists.
Effective Price
Coupons and bank or payment offers are separated from the base price and counted only with explicit eligibility assumptions.
Deal Status, Explained
Excellent Deal
Reserved for unusually strong value when supporting price and offer evidence justifies it.
Good Price
A favorable buying point supported by current context, without implying it is the lowest price ever.
Normal Price / Wait
Used when the current offer is ordinary or when available evidence does not support a stronger deal claim.
No Evidence, No Deal Claim
BazaarScout does not invent historical lows, savings, coupons or deal scores. Commercial modules are withheld when genuine merchant or price-history evidence is insufficient or stale. Always verify final price, stock, delivery and offer eligibility at merchant checkout.
